What is wrong with my playstation 3 dvd/blu ray player? - why is my dvd grainy in my blu ray player

I am granulated pixilation standard and Blu Ray.
Seems to happen more when the scene is a film very dark, but comes in a few other times, sometimes will be perfect, it is really annoying. The overwhelming response that I have when I asked this question B4 that my TV is a piece of shit. It is true that the brand, not the beginning of the line, I do not think that's the problem, because I have not seen the problem occurs when I PS3 games look good. I have the right connections and configured correctly in the display settings.
